Special Times

Because I will be traveling to Chicago for the Northwestern game and will be out of town for five days, the submission times and voting times for the Virtual Photo Contest will be different this time. You may submit your photos of a Closed Freight Car now, and the submissions will end on Sunday, the 17th, at midnight. I should have the photos online by the afternoon of Wednesday the 20th, and voting will begin then. Voting will close at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, the 25th. The next day, I plan to post the contest winners. And later that week, have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Photo submission will close at Midnight, Sunday, November 17th.

Voting will begin at 12:01 AM, Wednesday, November 20th via email.

Send your vote for the top three photos, by photo number, to Contest Chair Chair

Voting will end at 7:00 PM, Monday, November 25th.

Winners will be announced on the WEB, Facebook, and Groups.io on the next day.

Photo can be of either the prototype or model and must have been taken my the member entering the photo.

Examples would be: Box car, covered hopper, tank car, and gondola with cover.
Note: Flat cars and coal car are NOT included even if covered.

The Contest Chair would like for entrants to submit a short write up about the photo as there seems to be interest in the story behind the photos.
